Service Description
Our providers are licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs), with master's degrees, who have years of experience working with disorders in speech, language, and voice. Sierra Speech SLPs have also focused their talents in non-disordered, but related areas. We employ our extensive training in standardized procedures, integration of the latest research, and deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and related topics, to provide effective gender affirming communication, accent expansion, and voice and speech enhancement. We also proudly incorporate ethical, person-centered, and culturally informed care, because it is the right thing to do. Sierra Corbin, owner of Sierra Speech, prioritizes service quality and personally hires all providers, who undergo a comprehensive vetting process and regular review. This is not the case with many online programs, that value their financial bottom-line over service quality and effectiveness. Your provider will have the ability to help you meet your goals. You might even work with Sierra! Meeting for an initial intake is required for all services. This ensures your needs are met and we understand where to start. It allows your provider to hear about your priorities, take baseline data measures, educate on approach options, and make a plan of care individualized for you. SLPs are super heroes, they just don't wear capes!
Cancellation Policy
There is no limit to the number of times subscribers can purchase sessions, unless otherwise advised by the treating speech therapist. Subscribers must use their purchased session within six months. It is recommended you schedule ahead to ensure a consistent spot and to support your progress. Sessions missed without 48 hours advanced notice of cancelation or reschedule will forfeit one session of the package. Reach out to Sierra Speech if you want to be removed from a group.
