Sierra's journey as a speech-language pathologist began in 2014, and by 2017, she was passionate about sharing her knowledge on voice, articulation, swallowing, and language. What began as a fun way to grow her local business, Eugene Speech Therapy, blossomed into a thriving YouTube channel, now known as Sierra Speech. Her Voice Course and related offerings serve a wide audience, from individuals looking for general voice enhancement to professionals who rely on their voice for their careers. Our Story
Sierra started developing her voice and upper airway specialization in 2016 when she opened her private speech pathology practice in Eugene, Oregon. At the time it was the only private practice dedicated to service adult clients. She quickly became a primary provider for voice and upper airway disorders, as well as gender affirming voice therapy. Here she is at a Walt Fritz manual therapy training.
Sierra offers a distinctive perspective in voice and speech expertise, influenced by life alongside her husband, a singer-songwriter and music producer. This connection to the music industry broadens her insights into vocal techniques and professional voice use. Her extensive world travel and commitment to dismantling barriers inspires her mission to provide services to everyone, including those from marginalized communities. That is why 5% of every individual session scheduled goes toward a charity supporting people with communication disorders.
