Technique
Sierra and colleagues employ evidence based practice. What does this mean? It includes three pillars, research, clinical experience, and client preference. The last pillar is the most important at Sierra Speech. You lead the way and we support what matters most to you. We match the protocols to your exact needs, so that you can efficiently get your voice to where you want it. We regularly work with allied professionals, including ENTs, laryngologists, lung specialists, voice coaches, neurologists, allergists, etc., because interprofessional collaboration yields the best outcomes. Not sure which other providers to see? We have a knack for knowing who to refer to for the most efficient use of your time. We take cultural competency seriously and aim to provide intentional care to historically marginalized communities. Some of our certifications for voice include:
-
Phonation Resistance Training Exercises (PhoRTE) for voices 65+
-
SPEAK OUT! for Parkinson's Disease
-
Stroboscopy training at University of Colorado Anschutz Department of Otolaryngology
-
